It’s that time again! Yeah yeah…so it’s like way past that time – but I’m trying to catch up here! There was definitely a lot to love from the November 2015 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. The November box had 5 awesome items to try and was an amazing value. This box had some of my new favorite items, such as the 100% Pure Liquid Eye Liner, the Mineral Fusion Nail Polish in Trinket, and the Nubian Indian Hemp Body Lotion. If you are curious about signing up for your own Beauty Box, check out Vegan Cuts here.
Nubian Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver Body Lotion: A nice, natural body lotion that also contains Neem oil to keep your skin nice and moisturized. From the hemp oil, you get Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. This lotion smells soooo nice – I love using it! I’d never heard of the ingredient vetiver, but according to Nubian’s website, it is native to Asia and is known in tropical communities for its calming, soothing scent. You can buy a full size lotion on one of my favorite sites – Vitacost.com.
Shea Radiance Moisturizing Hair Milk with Shea Butter: This is a great product to use on dry hair that needs a little extra moisture, as well as hair that needs help getting detangled. I don’t notice a huge difference with my hair, but it does feel soft after using this! Spray a little on damp or dry hair and comb it through. You’ll also be happy to know that this product does not contain mineral oils, petroleum oil, parabens, or sulfates. Yes please!
100% Pure Black Tea Long Last Liquid Eyeliner: I have to admit, I was a little intimidated to use a liquid eyeliner. Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve tried using one! So, thanks Vegan Cuts for helping me get out of my comfort zone. On my first try, I may have dripped a little blob of black into my eye. My second try was much more successful. The more practice, the better! The brush is tiny and very fine and you can get a beautiful look with it. All you need is a semi-steady hand! Let me tell you, this stuff will stay on all day long. Even at the end of the day, I have to use a little elbow grease to get it off. This product retails for $28 – and we got a full size in our beauty box! This month was totally worth it. I really love the 100% Pure products. They are quality items without all the harsh ingredients. For instance, this liner is pigmented from crushed, micronized black tea leaves rather than harsh synthetic dyes. This is definitely one of those items you want to have in your makeup bag!
Mineral Fusion Nail Polish – Trinket: I have to rave about this nail polish guys. Firstly, this is one of the most beautiful colors (Trinket), and I can’t even tell you how many compliments on got on it. Also, if you don’t already know, nail polish contains a lot of known and alleged carcinogens that you really don’t want to put on your body, and I am happy to report that this one is free of Toluene, Camphor, DBP, and Formaldehyde. They have SO many different shades to choose from as well. I’d love to try out some more colors, especially now that Spring is just around the corner 🙂
Bohemian Beauty Co. Facial Steam: At first, I thought this was a pretty bag of potpourri! But, this is actually a calming facial steam. To use, you’ll want to have a clean, makeup-free face. Place a little bit of the blend at the bottom of a bowl and cover with boiling water. Place your face over the bowl and cover your head with a towel in order to get the full steam effect. This will help you to relax, meditate and feel refreshed while bringing out the impurities from your skin.
I’d say this was definitely a very successful box! If you want to see what other kinds of goodies you can get in a Vegan Cuts subscription box, check out my prior Vegan Cuts Beauty Box reviews here!
