It’s that time again! Well, actually, I fell a bit behind on the Vegan Cuts unboxing posts, so sorry for the late post on this one. The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box typically has 4 to 7 beauty goodies for you each month for $19.95. October’s box had six items, including a couple of really good items to use for the winter season.
October Fields Original Lip Balm: I love a good lip balm (I probably say this every time I get one). I have quite the collection after receiving my Vegan Cuts Beauty Boxes for over a year now. It’s nice to change it up, though. This one is the original, and good for everyday use. I took it on my trip to Europe with me and used it all day every day! Perfect for keeping those winter chapped lips moisturized. You’ll be happy to know that it’s not only vegan, but made with organic ingredients and is paraben free, phthalate free, and cruelty free. If you click the link above to their website, you can order directly from them, and they offer the following flavors: Original, Citrus Rose, or Teaberry Mint.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Radiant Gold Leaf Highlighter: Not being that big into makeup, I have never actually tried a highlighter. I do love the lovely gold color though and can see how this would definitely bring out that shimmer in a subtle way. Use this product on your lips, cheeks, and even shoulders to give you a little glow! This product also contains real gold leaf, and retails for $15 (which makes it a steal coming in the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box). You can purchase this on Jersey Shore’s website, or from them directly through Amazon here.
True Moringa Peppermint Body Oil: Love the smell of this – well, I love anything Peppermint pretty much so this is great! This body oil is multi-functional, which is awesome. You can use it for minimizing stretchmarks or scars, as cuticle oil, a makeup base, or gentle makeup remover. I like to use it after I wash my face at night, and in the morning. It makes my skin feel so soft! It helps with anti-aging and skin hydration and is ideal for all skin types. This body oil is also paraben free and sulfate free. You’ll love this! You can purchase this directly from True Moringa or from them through Amazon here.
Luxie Detailed Angle Blender: This is definitely my favorite item from the October box. I use this every day now to apply my eye shadow. It’s super soft and the angle is just perfect. I don’t think I can ever use another kind of brush. Definitely get yourself one of these if you don’t have one. You can get these from Luxie directly or on Amazon – they even have a set available so you can try different ones!
Beurre Vanilla Shea Butter Body Cream: This one smells really good (though I love vanilla-scented body products) and definitely gives your skin a good moisturized feeling. It’s made with oils such as grapeseed, jojoba, and vitamin E, and very easy to apply as well – like “butter.” This is great to get your skin through those dry winter months and ready to look great for spring and summer!
Aricole Hair Mask by The Ariel Company: This stuff smells amazing! I’ve never used a hair mask before, but I just had to try it out. It’s a blend of coconut oil, castor oil, kukui nut oil, avocado oil & argan oil, and is used to fight frizz, replenish nutrients, strengthen, reduce split ends, soften & add shine to your hair. You apply it evenly through your hair and let is sit for about 30 minutes (I put it on and then hit up the treadmill!). I had a little trouble washing it out afterwards, but my hair is definitely very hydrated after using it. It is quite pricey though at $26 for a 4 oz bottle, so I’m glad I got this little sample in the Vegan Cuts box.
All in all, I thought the October box was a very good value for all the goodies in it! If you are interested in subscribing to your own Vegan Cuts box, check out their website.
